Armorsaurs, Series Premiere, Wednesday, February 18, Disney+

There are new kids on the block as Armorsaurs launches on Disney+. The series follows the grand old tokusatsu-themed playbook: kids bond with mech-powered dinosaurs and battle larger-than-life villains. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with that formula.

Season One is streaming now, and the show has already been greenlit for Season Two. With no current Power Rangers series on the air, Armorsaurs steps into a space that already has a passionate built-in audience hungry for high-energy, dino-powered action and teamwork-driven storytelling.

One of the biggest takeaways from the show is that the dinosaurs aren’t just flashy plot devices—they’re essential friends and partners to the heroes. They’re part of the team, not just background spectacle. That connection carries through to the toy line, giving kids more than just battle gear—it gives them characters with personality and purpose.

The series also gets a major boost from MGA Entertainment, with a full toy line launching this March. We were invited to speak with the cast and preview the toys firsthand, and the attention to play value stands out. Each Armorsaur features removable armor, and the affordable figures include extensive parts and accessories, allowing for dynamic play and customization.

Armorsaurs delivers what fans of the genre love: teamwork, dinosaurs, action, and toys that extend the adventure beyond the screen.

We may not have a new Power Rangers series right now but we do have Armorsaurs and I am ok with that
