Adelaide Kane, age 24 years, has been performing since the age of 3, starting in dance then progressing to singing and acting from the age of 6. At the age of 6, Ms. Kane was signed to an acting Frog management group in West Australia. She began professionally in print ads and moved on to TV commercials and work on various children's TV shows.
At the age of 16, Ms. Kane was chosen from 7,000 possible actresses who auditioned for a role in the iconic Australian soap opera Neighbours. Initially engaged for 3 months, her contract was then extended with an option to extend again due to her character's popularity. The demand for her character lead to a regular role in 42 episodes of Neighbours.
Ms. Kane was accepted into Edith Cowan University in 2008, but deferred her studies mid year to take up a role in Disney's final Power Rangers TV series (19 episodes) as the Tenaya 7. In 2009, Ms. Kane was scouted and signed by Rosario Entertainment and subsequently with Creative Artists Agency to represent her as her in the U.S. In 2010 she starred in a television movie SECRETS OF THE MOUNTAIN where she played the lead Jade Ann James. The show was optioned for series due to it’s ratings of 9.2 million viewers. In the same year she also filmed the independent film DONNER PASS, Goats starring David Duchovny and Vera Farmiga.
In 2012 Adelaide had starring roles in three feature films, The Purge, Where The Devil Hides and After The Fall. In 2013 Adelaide Kane went on to film two television shows. She had a large recurring role on season 3 of MTV's Teen Wolf and landed the lead role in CW's pilot Reign playing Mary Queen of Scots. Adelaide can now be seen in ABC’s reboot of Once Upon A Time playing the role of Drizella.
